Cheryl spent 30 years working in the Human Resources Department at The MetroHealth System, serving in both Compensation and Talent Acquisition roles; her most recent roles were Manager, Employment Services, and then as Director, Talent Acquisition for the past 15 years. In these roles Cheryl oversaw the Talent Acquisition Team which was responsible for full cycle recruitment, selection, and
onboarding of 800 – 1200 employees each year. In addition to recruitment and selection strategy, Cheryl was also responsible for workforce development initiatives, and inclusion and diversity programs.
Cheryl received her Bachelor’s Degree from Baldwin-Wallace College, and her Master’s Degree (MBA) from Baldwin Wallace University; she also holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI), and a SHRM – Senior Certified Professional certification from the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
