Carrie May is an experienced Human Resources professional with over 20 years of experience and expertise in the areas of recruitment and staffing, compensation and benefits management, developing HR policies and procedures, employee relations and counseling, and training and development.  She is currently working as a Senior Consultant for Lawrence Stephen Partners, where she is mostly involved with Executive Recruiting.  She has worked for a broad range of employers which include a small government park district, The University of Akron, John Deere Corporation, Honda Research & Development and Diebold prior to her work with Lawrence Stephen Partners.

Carrie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business & Human Resources from The Ohio State University.  She also worked as a teaching assistant at The University of Akron where she received her Master’s Degree in Education.  She has also been certified as a Professional in Human Resources since 1999 (PHR, SHRM-CP).  Carrie is an active member of many prominent HR organizations including the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) both on the national and local levels (Atlanta SHRM & Allatoona Local Chapter).

Alongside her HR career, Carrie loves to spend time with her family, exercise, travel, participate in her church and community, and educate herself on wellness and total health.
